How did you first get into fitness? How has that changed over the years?
I first got into fitness after being a competitive gymnast for six years. My dad started CrossFit first and introduced me to it. I fell in love right away!
Name one quality you learned thanks to your sport that you are so grateful to have learned.
Discipline. I would say I was disciplined in gymnastics, but in CrossFit I have to be a lot more self-disciplined and can’t always rely on my coaches to be there 110% of the time, telling me what to do, like in gymnastics.
What’s your least favorite part about CrossFit?
My least favorite part about CrossFit is probably the cardio aspect. From gymnastics, I was a short twitch athlete, and it’s taken a lot of time to start developing my aerobic system.
Go-to music when crushing a workout?
Big bootie mixes are probably my go-to.
What does your workout schedule look like?
My workout schedule is three days of training, then one active recovery day, two days of training, and a rest day.
What does your recovery routine look like?
My recovery routine is a lot of stretching, enjoying great food, and of course drinking O2.
Favorite flavor of O2 and when do you enjoy it most?
My favorite flavor of O2 is Blackberry Currant. I don’t know why it’s my favorite, but it’s so delicious!!
