About O2
O2 was founded in Columbus, Ohio back in 2014 by a CrossFit® trainer and a medical doctor who had one goal in mind -- create a better alternative to the unhealthy sports drinks available on the market. Being active and health conscious themselves, co-founders trainer Dave and doctor Dan realized there were no healthy or great tasting sports drinks that aided them in the crucial post-workout phase, so they set out to create one themselves.
THE RESEARCH
At the time, Dr. Dan Kim uncovered research behind the role of ingested oxygen in recovery, particularly the role super oxygenated liquids have on your liver’s processing power. He found studies on the liver (your body’s largest organ) and the digestion of solubilized oxygen, and how oxygen helps cells and organs perform crucial functions in the body.

THE RESULT
With this science backed evidence, Dave and Dan knew they were onto something. They set out to create a ground-breaking one-of-a-kind recovery drink with only clean ingredients, electrolytes, natural caffeine, and added oxygen to help athletes recover faster and be the best version of themselves. The result? O2 Sports Recovery. A great tasting drink for faster workout recovery that's now sold over 2 million cans across the United States.

My preferred method of recovery is running with my baby girl and dogs! I do CrossFit, but you'd never know it because CrossFitters are so shy about that kind of stuff ;) I love sweet potatoes, ice cream, and tacos (#Tuesday).
